"A Raven's Reply" #LFA108
By: Misty Pursel
From: Luminous Fiber Arts
* Paper Printed Pattern
* Project: Counted Cross Stitch
* Stitch Count: 93H x 71W
* This design includes full cross stitches and back stitches.
Ravens are a bit spooky, aren't they? Edgar Allan Poe's eerie poem, "The Raven," was the inspiration for this fun Halloween design. "A Raven's Reply" is part of my series celebrating birds. Central to the design is a mysterious raven perched on a pumpkin above its unforgettable reply, "Nevermore." A golden moon hangs in the sky with a spider suspended from it. The border is scalloped orange and black, giving the design a vintage Halloween feel. If you're looking for a fun and spooky design to decorate your home, this is the perfect project for you!
Model: Stitched using one strand of floss over two threads on 40 count Soft Porcelain linen by Luminous Fiber Arts. Flosses used include The Gentle Art and Weeks Dye Works. Suggested DMC substitutions are given for over-dyed floss colors in parenthesis and will give a different look to the piece.

The Gentle Art: (may need 2 skeins for lower fabric counts): Blackboard, (1 skein each): Fragrant Cloves, Buttercrunch, Bittersweet, Uniform Blue
Weeks Dye Works: (1 skein each): Sweet Potato, Cayenne

The Free Domestic Shipping Offer is based on your cart total. To receive Free Shipping, your cart total (after all discounts) must be $50 or more. Unfortunately, there are times when items would have free shipping at their regular price, but once the sale price is applied they are no longer eligible. The Etsy system does not correct the Free Shipping Ad based on the discounted price.
When you receive Free Shipping, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT to ship all items in a manner that your purchase qualifies for and in keeping with good business practices, regardless if you have been offered or selected Priority by Etsy. Etsy shipping is not always accurate on weights and sizes when items of different postal requirements are taken into consideration.
Most items are sent USPS Ground Advantage with a stiffener, this disqualifies the item(s) from first class shipping. This shipping option does include insurance should the item(s) be lost or damaged in transit. For items sent via media mail (when they qualify by USPS standards) I do add insurance.
If your order is lost or damaged in transit, I can assist filing a claim compensation, be it a refund or replacement.
If a package is scanned delivered by the post office but NOT received by you, it does become your responsibility to contact your local post office to try to locate or find out what happened to the package. Please note that we will need to wait for an insurance claim to be paid prior sending a replacement.
Yes. We do our best to combine separate orders occurring on the same day and ship orders at the lowest rate possible based on the size and weight. Any shipping overage of $1 or more will be refunded to the payment account.
Please note: our patterns are sent via USPS and ship at package rates NOT letter rates. This is due to a larger envelope size and a stiffener we place with our patterns, which makes them more rigid to protect them from being bent or damaged by the postal service machinery.
