For a truly whimsical quilt with some great folk art design, this is the Christmas quilt for you! Like most folk art, this quilt tells a bit of a story. When I made one of these for myself, I also wrote a small book and had it printed up at my local printer. It was a story that I made up about our family and our Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Each family member, including our animals, are included in the quilt and book. Every year we put out the quilt and sometime during the holiday, the little book is read aloud to all that come to our home. You too can make your own family traditions with your quilt.
The featured quilt was made using woven wool applique on a linen background. The wool could easily be substituted for regular quilting cotton for a completely different look.
NOTE: This is for the pattern only and is NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT. No Fabric, notions, embroidery floss or embellishments are included. Also, because of copy-write laws, this item cannot be returned.

Free Shipping Offer Details
The Free Domestic Shipping Offer is based on your cart total. To receive Free Shipping, your cart total (after all discounts) must be $50 or more. Unfortunately, there are times when items would have free shipping at their regular price, but once the sale price is applied they are no longer eligible. The Etsy system does not correct the Free Shipping Ad based on the discounted price.
When you receive Free Shipping, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT to ship all items in a manner that your purchase qualifies for and in keeping with good business practices, regardless if you have been offered or selected Priority by Etsy. Etsy shipping is not always accurate on weights and sizes when items of different postal requirements are taken into consideration.
Shipping Cost and Package Tracking
Most items are sent USPS Ground Advantage with a stiffener, this disqualifies the item(s) from first class shipping. This shipping option does include insurance should the item(s) be lost or damaged in transit. For items sent via media mail (when they qualify by USPS standards) I do add insurance.
If your order is lost or damaged in transit, I can assist filing a claim compensation, be it a refund or replacement.
If a package is scanned delivered by the post office but NOT received by you, it does become your responsibility to contact your local post office to try to locate or find out what happened to the package. Please note that we will need to wait for an insurance claim to be paid prior sending a replacement.
Do you refund for shipping overage charges?
Yes. We do our best to combine separate orders occurring on the same day and ship orders at the lowest rate possible based on the size and weight. Any shipping overage of $1 or more will be refunded to the payment account.
Please note: our patterns are sent via USPS and ship at package rates NOT letter rates. This is due to a larger envelope size and a stiffener we place with our patterns, which makes them more rigid to protect them from being bent or damaged by the postal service machinery.
