This quilt was inspired by the Twin Slot Canyons of Antelope Canyon in northern Arizona. The semicircular design comes from the overlapping of the wide and narrow strips. Many variations are possible with this design based on the values of the fabrics used. There are 4 large log cabin-style blocks in this quilt, and if you rotate each 90°, you’ll get a large circle in the center for another great look.
The Antelope Canyon quilt using the black/grey/cream fabrics was created using a fabric line called "Texture Graphics" from In the Beginning fabrics. Yardage is given for making this version of the quilt. The pattern has color representations of the fabrics for substitution purposes.
An updated and more feminine version is also included. This quilt is made using "Watercolor Beauty" by In the Beginning Fabrics. The original pattern done in a more Southwest color palette is still included.
This quilt is 74″ square and uses 2½” strips as well as 1½” strips. So, you can use prepackaged Bali Pops from Hoffman Fabrics or any other 2½” pre-cuts, such as Shadow Play.
NOTE: This is for the pattern only and is NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT. Patterns may be printed in either color, black and white, or combination format. No fabric, notions, rulers, or embellishments are included. Due to copyright laws, this item cannot be returned.

The Free Domestic Shipping Offer is based on your cart total. To receive Free Shipping, your cart total (after all discounts) must be $50 or more. Unfortunately, there are times when items would have free shipping at their regular price, but once the sale price is applied they are no longer eligible. The Etsy system does not correct the Free Shipping Ad based on the discounted price.
When you receive Free Shipping, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT to ship all items in a manner that your purchase qualifies for and in keeping with good business practices, regardless if you have been offered or selected Priority by Etsy. Etsy shipping is not always accurate on weights and sizes when items of different postal requirements are taken into consideration.
Most items are sent USPS Ground Advantage with a stiffener, this disqualifies the item(s) from first class shipping. This shipping option does include insurance should the item(s) be lost or damaged in transit. For items sent via media mail (when they qualify by USPS standards) I do add insurance.
If your order is lost or damaged in transit, I can assist filing a claim compensation, be it a refund or replacement.
If a package is scanned delivered by the post office but NOT received by you, it does become your responsibility to contact your local post office to try to locate or find out what happened to the package. Please note that we will need to wait for an insurance claim to be paid prior sending a replacement.
Yes. We do our best to combine separate orders occurring on the same day and ship orders at the lowest rate possible based on the size and weight. Any shipping overage of $1 or more will be refunded to the payment account.
Please note: our patterns are sent via USPS and ship at package rates NOT letter rates. This is due to a larger envelope size and a stiffener we place with our patterns, which makes them more rigid to protect them from being bent or damaged by the postal service machinery.
